Heal Signet
What's your take on Healing Signet for warrior. I like it a lot, but was being hated on for using it. I know you have -40 armor, but with other defensive skills, and the speed you can get 130 health, that is a fair trade.
Do others use it?
Thanks,
Don

Healing signet is one of the most important warrior skills. Its there only pure self heal. Almost every warrior should have this on their skillbar.

Yes, it's basically conditional for a Warrior to have Healing Signet equipped always (Unless it's not part of a special build). The person who called you stupid for using it is a fool.

Stupid is using Frenzy+Healing Signet, or using it under heavy fire. Otherwise, it's probably the best way for a warrior to counter degen. (Or just to fill your time when you are blind)

I've been using Healing Signet for ALONG while... back when I still used a Sever Artery-Gash bar...
I'm a W/Mo atm (have been mostly unless I farmed as any other secondary), and don't use Healing Signet at all anymore. And imo, W/Mo shouldn't.
But ya, Healing Signet would be good for non-W/Mo's

Not with frenzy its not. As a warrior, I´ve often dropped healsig for endure pain in GVG giving me time to retreat to my monk backline or insurance for any mistakes I make. Healsig just doesn´t help much when you´re being pounded on and about to die to begin with (just as long as you have faith in your monks).
Healsig on the other hand has its uses for things like a gank or a split where your monk backline isn´t what it is in an 8 on 8 and is therefore much more flexible.

IMO, healing sig. is junk. Although, I also think the whole tactics line is, too I leave my healing to troll ungent and my ranger secondary.

Healing sig is good only when you can fall back to safety for a breather.
You cant do this in HA, RA, TA.
Might as well take endure pain to take the spikes when they come.

i like healsig and although im a wammo i usualy take a warrior only build and even the -40 Al is ok as long as you throw up some defences beforehand i usually only need major healing in a big bash-up at which time i would already have put shield stance up if not that ten at least watch yourself to take it down to - 20 and i get on fine apart for a few RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO ups

And how exactly will Troll Ungent help keep you alive from mass degen? Haven't we all learned that spike heal is useually superior than Healing over Time?
Of course, Heal Sig is conditional in the sense you can't use it when under heavy fire - when you'd normally be taking damage - thus why you use it to counter degen. Situational use ftw. I love tactics, it's a friendly line. ^__^
PS: People let you get Troll off? O_O It screams...*Use and Interrupt on me* to me : )

Healing Signet is the best self-heal for a warrior. Period.

Nah, he/she didn't say that. But it isn't very smart to rely on other people, especially for something as important as healing. As for the Healing Sig, I only use it when I'm using a pure warrior build, and have something like Gladiator's Defence and Dolyak Signet up as well. You have to strongly consider the minus 40 AL in tight times. Half of the time when you're running low on health... it's because you did something wrong anyways. When you're being targeted by everyone, like when you're Troll Farming (which shouldn't use Healing Signet anyways) or Grawl farming (Bad Memories *shudders*) you need to have some form of alternate defence up. For instance, when I'm out Grawl Farming, I agro up about 25 Grawl. They usually hit me for 0's, 1's, and 2's. That's with Dolyak Signet and "Watch Yourself!" up. However, when I'm healing, even after activating Gladiator's Defence, I must think about if it's worth it. You will get hit for more when you're using it... for sure.
As for the GvG thing about Endure Pain, I don't know abou that. Yes, relying on a back-up of monk healing is a good idea. However, you really shouldn't be that far away from a monk. It's a good idea, in my opinion, to still carry Healing Signet with you into a GvG match. You don't want to rely on those monks.
Overall, I like Healing Signet. Wether I'm W/Mo or W/N, etc., I always carry it with me.
